改めて香水の種類について深掘りしてみましょう。

全てを詳しく調べ尽くせたわけではありませんが、私が調べた限りの情報を皆様にも共有させていただきます。

 

皆様ご存じかと思いますが、香水には香料の割合を示す”賦香率”というものが存在し、そして賦香率によって種類がカテゴライズされます。

では種類を見てみましょう。香水に主には5つのカテゴリーがあります。

上記種類をそれぞれ簡単に説明します。

 

Perfume or Parfum

パルファム

賦香率が最も高く、約20〜30％。

持続時間は約24時間まで持続すると言われています。

ブレンドにアルコールが少ないため、敏感肌の方にもおすすめです。

This is the fragrance category with the highest perfume ratio, around 20 to 30%.It is said to last up to 24 hours.As it contains less alcohol in the blend, it is also recommended for sensitive skin.

 

 

Eau de Perfume or Eau de Parfum

オードパルファム

賦香率は約15～20％。

香りは6～8時間持続します。

This is the fragrance category with a perfume ratio of around 15 to 20%.The scent lasts for 6 to 8 hours.

 

 

Eau de Toilette

オードトワレ

賦香率は5〜15％。

約2〜4時間持続します。

Eau de Toiletteは現時点で世に発売される香水の中で最も多いカテゴリーのようです。

This is the fragrance category with a perfume ratio of 5 to 15%. It lasts for approximately 2 to 4 hours. Eau de Toilette seems to be the most common category of perfume currently available on the market.

 

 

Eau de Cologne

オーデコロン

賦香率が約2～4％で、最も香りが軽いカテゴリーの一つです。

しばし男性向けの香水として認識されているようですが、女性用のオーデコロンも存在するようです。

約2時間ほどで香りが消失するので、非常に軽い付け心地の香水です。

This is one of the categories with the lowest perfume ratio, around 2 to 4%. It is one of the lightest scents. It seems to be recognized as a perfume for men, but there are also Eau de Cologne for women. The scent disappears in about 2 hours, making it a very light fragrance.

 

 

Eau Fraiche

オーフライシュ

賦香率が約1～3%の程度に希釈されたもの。

主な成分は精製水で、「Eau Fraiche」は「新鮮な水 / 淡水」を意味しています。1時間程度の持続時間なので、ボディスプレー？にあたるでしょうか。

This category is for perfumes that are the most diluted with essential oil and "perfume extract" concentrations of around 1 to 3%. The main ingredient is purified water, 'Eau Fraiche' means 'fresh water'.

 

 

上記はよく見るカテゴリーかと思いますが、中には” Attars, Perfume Oil"というものが存在するようです。

この” Attars, Perfume Oil"は、未希釈、アルコールと合成香料を含まない100％ pure essential oilで形成された香水らしいです。

私が知る限り、銀座にある某ブランドがこのカテゴリーに分類されると考えているのですが、つまり賦香率100%の香水を作っているということでしょうね。

This category is said to be made up of 100% pure essential oils, without the addition of any chemical fragrances or alcohol. They are not diluted and not contain alcohol. It is said that a certain brand in Ginza, Japan is classified in this category, which means that they create perfumes with a 100% concentration of fragrance.

 

 

ちなみにSENSO del MARE / AQUAの賦香率は約10%、つまりEau de Toiletteということになります。

ただ、こういったカテゴリーは当てになる様でならないと考えています。

というのも、賦香率を上げる＝香りが強くなるという単純な構造とはならないからです。

例えば、弊社製品AQUAの賦香率を20%に上げた場合、この香りがさらに濃く、強くなり、持続時間も伸びる わけではなく、もしかすると全く違う香りになる恐れがあります。

特にトップノートのレモンやオレンジの香りは、比較的持続性がなく飛びやすいので、ミドルもしくはラストノートの残香性の高い香料が勝つ（トップの柑橘をかき消す）状況になり、別の香りになるかもしれません。

単純にパルファムだから賦香率が高く贅沢、高価、香水として質が高いと思いがちですが、香料によって、または目指す香りによって適切な賦香率があり、それが結果的にパルファムだった / オードトワレだったということで種類分けされています。（全てのブランドが当てはまるわけではないと思いますが...）

昔、オードコローニュという名称で製品を出しているイギリスやイタリアのブランドを持っていましたが、結構香りが強く持続していた記憶があります。カテゴリーによる選別は、そんなに意味をなさないと思いますので、あまり深く考えないようにしましょう。

 

The SENSO del MARE / AQUA fragrance has an approximate concentration of 10%, which would classify it as an Eau de Toilette. However, this category does not always mean that a higher concentration of fragrance will make the scent stronger or last longer. For example, increasing the concentration of fragrance in our product AQUA to 20% may not result in a stronger and longer lasting scent, and it may even change the scent altogether. This is because the top notes of lemon and orange in the scent tend to have a relatively short lifespan and can be easily overpowered by middle or base notes with a longer lasting fragrance, which can change the overall scent.Simply because it is a perfume, it may be thought that the fragrance rate is high, luxurious, and high quality as a fragrance, but there is an appropriate fragrance rate depending on the spices or the fragrance to be aimed for, and it is classified as a perfume / eau de toilette as a result. In the past, I had a brand from the United Kingdom and Italy that produced products under the name of Eau de Cologne, but I remember that the smell was quite strong and persistent. I don't think the category selection means much, so let's not think about it too deeply.

 

 

 

持続時間ですが、皆様体感的にAQUAはどれくらい持ちますか？

特に男性は体温が高いので、もしかしたら３時間も持たないかもしれませんが、日中でもたくさん使用していただき、リフレッシュ、リラックス、ポジティヴな気持ちになっていただきたいです。

As for the lasting time, how long do you feel AQUA lasts for? Especially for men, since their body temperature is high, it may not last for more than 3 hours. However, we would like you to use it frequently during the day and feel refreshed, relaxed and positive.
