香水の最も効果的な付け方 / How to use the perfume
性別による香水の付け方、付ける場所や保管方法、そして注意点についてお話しします。
基本的に香水は、ご購入いただいた皆様がご自由にお使いいただくことがベストだと考えています。というのも、SENSO del MAREに関しては穏やかで自然な香りなので、つけすぎることで周囲に不快感を与えるような事態にはならないかと思うためです。
あまり神経質にならず、ご自身の気分のまま香りを付けてお楽しみください。それを日々繰り返すことでその方のライフスタイルやパーソナルに合った香りの付け方が自然と身についてくるはずです。出かける時に洋服を着るように、意識せず自然に纏っていただければ嬉しいです。

とは言え一般的な目安があるので、今回のブログでは香水の付け方や注意点を言語化してみたいと思います。
まず性別による香水のベターな付け方としては...
・レディース
首元、肩、デコルテなどが適切です。女性の身長を加味すると上半身に付けることでお相手にも香りが届きます。
・メンズ
腰部、膝裏、足首。男性は体温が高いので、下から上に昇ってきて自然に香りが届いてくれます。
上記の各箇所に1〜2プッシュほど付けることが望ましいかと思います。

First, let's talk about the best way to apply perfume depending on your gender:
・For women
Applying perfume to the nape of the neck, shoulders, and décolletage is appropriate. If you take into account the height of a woman, applying it to the upper body will make it reach the person you're with as well.
・For men
Applying perfume to the waist, back of the knee, and ankle is appropriate. Since men have a higher body temperature, the scent will naturally reach others from the bottom to the top.
It is desirable to apply 1-2 pushes of perfume to the above areas.
次に香水を使用 / 保管する際の”注意点”です。香水を付ける際に、皆様やりがちな使用方法、保管方法、トラブルなどを簡潔に記します。
①手首への付け方
香水をつける際の、最も一般的な部位が手首かと思います。
これ、スプレーで吹きかけた後に手首同士でこすっている方が多いのですが、これによって摩擦による熱でトップノートが揮発してしまいます。吹きかけた後はそのまま放置するか、エタノールを無くしたい場合は手首同士を密着、圧迫させればトップノートが香ってくるはずです。こすらず静かに手首同士を密着させてみてください。玄人の方は手首を振って、振動でエタノールを揮発させるようです。試してみましたがこれもしっかりトップノートが香りました。
Next, let's talk about the "precautions" when using and storing perfume. When applying perfume, I will list common usage methods, storage methods, and troubles in a concise manner.
① Applying perfume to the wrists
The most common place to apply perfume is probably the wrists.
Many people tend to rub their wrists together after spraying the perfume, but this causes the top note to evaporate due to the heat caused by friction. Instead, after spraying, leave it as is or, if you want to eliminate the alcohol, press the wrists together. The top note should come out. Try to keep your wrists still and close together. Some experts say that shaking your wrists and making them vibrate will evaporate the alcohol. I tried this and the top note still came out strongly. "
②保管方法
保管方法についてのご質問をよくいただきます。
これはもう「直射日光を避ける」。これに尽きます。直射日光の紫外線によって香りが劣化し崩れてしまいます。照明の光も原因になりかねないので、保管時は日陰、もしくは箱に入れるなどで光から香水を守りましょう。
②Storing the Perfume
We often receive questions about how to store the perfume.
It is simple, "avoid direct sunlight." This is the key. Direct sunlight can cause the fragrance to deteriorate. Lighting can also be a cause of this so when storing, keep it in the shade or put it in a box to protect it from light.
③服への影響
スプレーを吹きかける際に、少量だとしても服に飛散するかと思います。レザー/スエードは明かにアウトですが、コットン / ウールなどの獣毛に付着した場合は、色抜けや劣化等はそれほど発生しないかと思います。とは言え、付ける際は避けるようにしましょう。
例外では化繊があげられます。ポリエステルなどはアルコールの付着跡や色抜けが発生しやすいです。冬のこの時期、ダウンを多用するかと思いますので是非お気をつけください。手首だけでなく首周辺のカラーやフードのところなどが発生しやすい箇所です。
そして一番注意が必要な生地はシルクでしょう。これは香水に限らず、シルクは水分の付着によってシミが発生しやすく、そしてシミを抜くことが結構厳しい場合が多いです。
女性であればブラウスやスカーフでしょうか。
男性ではネクタイです。特にシルク100%のRepp Tie / ソリッドタイは要注意です。ネクタイのシミって目立つんですよね。お仕事に出かける直前に付ける場合は、できるだけ配慮してスプレーを吹きましょう。
③ Impact on Clothing
When using a spray, even a small amount can scatter onto clothing. Leather and suede are clearly out, but cotton and wool may not cause as much damage or discoloration. Nonetheless, try to avoid getting it on clothing.
An exception to this is synthetic fabrics such as polyester, which are more likely to show alcohol stains or discoloration. During the winter season, when many people use down jackets, please be careful. Not only wrists, but also collar and hood areas are also prone to staining.
Silk is the most delicate fabric to consider. Silk is easily stained by moisture, and these stains are often difficult to remove.
For women, blouses and scarves are a concern. For men, ties are a concern. Especially for silk 100% Repp Tie/Solid Tie, extra care should be taken. A tie stain is noticeable. If you are going to work, try to spray with consideration as much as possible before leaving.
