Can FRAGRANCES be shipped overseas ?
SORRY, We can't ship.
We would like to inform you that, due to the alcohol content, perfumes are classified as hazardous materials under aviation regulations and, as such, cannot be transported internationally by air.
However, you can still order SENSO del MARE from anywhere, as long as the delivery is within Japan.
Our online store can ship directly to your hotel, and we can also deliver to hotels where your family or friends are staying during their visit to Japan. Also, if you're returning through Haneda Airport, we can arrange to have your items ready for pickup at Terminal 2 or 3.

What are the shipping costs ?
Shipping costs vary depending on the contents of your order and the delivery area. The shipping fee will be displayed after you enter your address on the cart page. Please note that we do not combine shipments for separate orders — shipping charges apply to each order individually. We are also unable to ship a single order to multiple addresses.
How will my order be delivered ?
All orders are shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service). Delivery is typically made in person and requires a signature upon receipt.

About Delivery Duty Paid (DDP)
For shipments to the United States, we ship from Japan using EMS (Express Mail Service).
Under DDP terms, all applicable duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout together with the product price and shipping costs.
As all import duties and taxes are prepaid in advance, you will not be required to pay any additional customs fees or charges upon delivery.

About Delivery Duty UnPaid (DDU)
For orders to countries and regions other than the JAPAN, we ship by EMS (Express Mail Service). In the case of EMS shipments, any import-related charges such as customs duties, import taxes, and value-added tax (VAT) are the responsibility of the recipient. If you are requested to pay such charges by the local customs office or the delivery carrier at the time of delivery or during customs clearance, we kindly ask that you make the payment directly.

VAT & TAXES
Except for international shipments to the United States, SENSO del MARE does not calculate or collect import duties. As each country has its own rules and regulations regarding the importation of goods, and these may change at any time, we are unable to confirm the actual customs fees in advance. Please contact your local customs office or local tax authority for further details.
If import duties or taxes are incurred, payment will be required.
In such cases, you will receive a notification from the local post office or delivery carrier.
If you do not receive the notification, please contact the local delivery company directly.
Need to pay Japan’s 10% consumption tax ?
When Shipping Internationally
If you are purchasing through our cross-border e-commerce site and your shipping destination is outside Japan, you are not required to pay Japanese consumption tax.
When browsing apparel products on this site from overseas, the prices displayed do not include Japanese consumption tax.
For Deliveries within JAPAN
However, even if you are accessing and completing payment from overseas, if your shipping destination is within Japan, you will be required to pay Japan's 10% consumption tax. When you specify a shipping address within Japan, the price displayed will include the 10% consumption tax added, and payment will be processed at that amount.
Please note that in such cases, the currency may be displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY).
Can I cancel my order?
Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed. However, if you contact us before the shipment process has begun, we may be able to accommodate your cancellation request. Please reach out to us as soon as possible at CONTACT.
If a cancellation is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
For Customers in the EU & UK:
Customers residing in the EU or United Kingdom have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days of receiving the item, for any reason (cooling-off period). Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please contact us immediately upon receipt at CONTACT. We will arrange an appropriate resolution, including coverage of any associated shipping costs.

When a shipment is sent via Japan Post EMS, it will be handed over to the local postal service or its partner delivery company upon arrival in the destination country, and then delivered according to the process below.

2. Delivery Attempt / Notice
If you are not at home when delivery is attempted, a notice will be left.
