The fragrances of SENSO del MARE are born from the gentle light, wind, and memories of the Seto Inland Sea. We live in harmony with this serene landscape and translate its quiet beauty into scent. For us, preserving this scenery for the future is not merely a duty—it is part of who we are.
SENSO del MARE supports the certified non-profit organization Setouchi Olive Foundation and is a corporate partner. The Setouchi Olive Foundation was established in 2000 following the public mediation settlement of the tragic “Teshima Incident,” in which hazardous industrial waste was illegally dumped on Teshima, an island in the Seto Inland Sea. SENSO del MARE donates a portion of its proceeds to support the foundation’s restoration efforts for the devastated sea and island ecosystems, helping to preserve the beauty and richness of the landscape for future generations.
Our products are inspired by the Seto Inland Sea. As a way of giving back, we aim to contribute to the preservation of this land’s abundance.
We produce only what is necessary, carefully and in limited quantities, minimizing excess inventory and waste. We do not hold sales or offer free samples— not as a marketing choice, but as a commitment to respect the value of our creations and the resources behind them.
Rather than pursuing mass production, we believe in creating fragrances that linger in memory, not in surplus.
Our bottles and packaging are conceived to be timeless— unaffected by trends or seasons. Even after the fragrance is gone, each vessel can remain as part of your space, a quiet object of beauty that continues to live on.
